old & Grit was started in 2016 by Brooklyn native Melissa Fernandez. The shop is a little corner of Bay Ridge filled with carefully curated jewelry, home goods, and self-care finds. Every piece is chosen or made with care—I’m also one of the jewelry makers, handcrafting pieces for our in-house demi-fine collection. When I’m not designing, I’m hunting for treasures and working with skilled makers to bring you the best of Bay Ridge and beyond.
